This SCA project consisted of a new two-story, 68,000 square-foot school located in Staten Island, NY. The school is the first net zero energy school in New York City and the Northeastern United States. The school’s design includes many complex mechanical systems including photovoltaic solar arrays, solar thermal heating, low energy heating and ventilation features, wind turbines, and geothermal wells. The project began in July 2012. Baseline schedule was created and was updated monthly by RAI. Services rendered included acceleration schedules, resource loading, and cost analysis.
Project Value: $70,000,000
