We are actively seeking a Senior Claims Analyst with proven success in preparing and defending construction claims as they relate to delay and cost impacts.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years in the construction industry with 10-15 years of experience in claims and dispute resolution with a strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to investigate, evaluate and estimate costs for construction damages
- Experience in Project Controls related to CPM scheduling, delay, lost productivity and risk analysis.
- Experience in the preparation of expert reports and providing testimony support
- Experience in playing the lead role with clients and travel to and from their offices
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional P.E. licenses and Industry certifications (AACEi – PSP, PMP, CCP, CCA)
- Testimony experience in arbitration or court setting
Responsibility and Skills
- Ability to calculate damages including escalation, extended general conditions, under absorbed home office overhead and labor overruns
- Ability to analyze financial statements and cost ledgers
- Ability to analyze Change Orders
- Ability to prepare a forensic schedule delay analysis
- Proficient in the following software applications:
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Oracle Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project
- Ability to work full time out of our main office located in Scarsdale, NY
